CLIP + SLIDE transforms stairs into slides and musical instruments, creating  moments of play and joy in an urban game of chutes and ladders.

CLIP + SLIDE will transform stairs from forgotten moments of public utility to moments of play and joy in the city. Stairs become slides and musical instruments in urban game of Chutes and Ladders. Clip + Slide kit is packaged as a kit that includes a set brightly colored plexi-glass laminated wood strips that clip together to existing staircases,outfitted with sensors, activated by touch to produce musical tones.  A deck of cards provides assembly options with additional options and a forum that elicits user designs available online. The playing of the game fosters creativity, learning, and community, bringing pleasure and delight to all ages.
